Whats up with basilmentos? February 2013
Hey everybody! Long time no see! Today I figured I should update you on what has been going on the past couple months.
There have been some big changes in my life recently! I auditioned for the school musical, and I got in. Now I have rehearsal until 7 every day after school. My weekends are also filled with rehearsal from 10-6. Pretty crazy, huh!?
I am sure you can all guess what I am going to say next: I have way less time to make videos! With only a few hours on the weekend, stopmotioning becomes stressful and I am always in a time crunch!
The show opens at the end of march, so until then I am pretty much booked. Video making is definitely going to slow down a bit. I know you are probably accustomed to a video every weekend, but that is going to have to change a bit. I used to have the time to film AND edit a stopmotion on Saturday and Sunday, but now.... I have about 2 hours of free time per week to work on stopmotions.
I figure I should also let you know that in the last few weeks in March, I will most likely not be making videos- at all. The final weekends before a play opens are always insane! Last semester the rehearsals were from 8 am to 6 pm on weekends. (with 10 minute breaks!) I am assuming it is going to be similar, if not even more intense, for this show. I may be able to crank out one small video- I think I have an idea for something simple and quick. However, I really can't make any promises. Who knows how crazy it is going to be?
However, in April I will be done with the show, and that means tons of free time for filming!! :D I can't wait! I have so many cute ideas planned, and I am going to have a blast making them all.
Long story short, I have a crazy month or two ahead of me. But, I will see you guys in April, with a bunch of new stopmotions! :D

Haha no problem Anna, you take your time with videos! I know you'll do awesome in the play too! Just have fun though, that's what it's all about right? ;) I'm also going to be super busy throughout march and a little into april too! xD My gymnastics season ends in the middle of april after westerns and regionals so.. I'm pretty booked full too! I feel so bad, I barely get to log on nowadays! But after that, I will also have been completely moved into my new house, so I will finally be able to come back and get ready for SUMMER! :D YAY! Haha anyways, I can't wait to hear how the play gos! Talk to you later! ;)
ReplyDeleteFantastic!!! I hope it's a singing part? Look forward to your films however frequently they are.
ReplyDeleteYou're in a play? Amazing! And don't worry about the videos, take your time! If this play is only giving you 2 hours of free-time a week, so be it. I was in a talent show last year, and I didn't have a lot of time for videos.

Hey! You have inspired me so much! I just wanted to thank you and tell you that you are amazing. I emailed you, and hope for a reply!
ReplyDeleteIf you have only a little time to make videos, you can make other things other then AGSM. You can make a review of your new doll, or another one of those "Boys reaction to dolls" with your brother. I am sure you'll come up with something, you are a brilliant and inspiring girl!
ReplyDeleteHi Anna!!
ReplyDeleteYou know, you are a really inspiring person. I love your videos. My favourite is the one where your dolls open christmas presents. the end is hilarious.

ReplyDeleteIt is okay, Anna. Just try your best to get back on track.
