American girl place Seattle + Meet-up with HeartAG!

Hey everyone! Recently, I met HeartAG at the American Girl boutique and bistro in Seattle! It was so fun! We talked about dolls, shopped around and even made a little stopmotion (it will be up in a few days). I took a ton of photos while we were looking around, so here are a few of my favorites. (this is kind of like a sneak peek for our meet-up video!)

First of all, a few photos of the lovely caroline! I think she is prettier in person, but I am still not planning on purchasing her.

Julia posing with Julie+Ivy's car! I was thinking about buying it, but its just not worth $350. :(

Caroline and her beautiful parlor set! I would totally buy it if it was not so expensive!

Yeehaw!! Julia is having fun riding kaya's horse... but kaya does not look so happy!

Ahh! Look! Its HeartAG! (She made matching hats for our dolls :D)

We signed each other's dolls feet!

Thats all for now! I hope you enjoyed the pictures!

Also comment below and let me know how your dolliday season was! I had lots of fun this year and I received some awesome doll sized gifts! :) I am currently working on a sort of "what I got for christmas" video. (but its a bit different... just wait and see!)

  8. I had a wonderful dolliday season! I actually purchassed Caroline with some Xmas money, She is absolutely gorgeous! American Girl puts her hair in tons of mini curls, but i personaly think she looks amazing when you oput them in a few big curls. However she had a lot of flyaways, and like any other curly doll you have to be semi-gentle with it. I dont know what it is, (well, all of my AG dolls excluding Caroline we not New from AG, and said pleasant company on their necks, not all Pre-Mattel, but older.) but Caroline just seemed generally bigger, in terms of face mold and just overall and such. What I was also kind of annoyed by is that her hair wasn't as shiny & silky as new AGs, probably because of her curls, and she had random spots of short hairs, only about 2-5cm long, making it less pleasant looking to put her hair in a ponytail. Overall though, I would definetly recomend her,she is soo pretty. OK, enough Caroline. xD I also got Taylor Swifts new Album, a One Direction CD, some dolly sneakers, the soft as snow AG outfit,a tripod, and some other things. So it was great! I hope you had a wonderful Dolliday Season too!
~Rachel BTW, I apoligize for the longness xD

The story behind it all....

In September of 2009, a pre-teen girl named Anna was searching youtube. She no longer used her american girl dolls. they were behind the closet doors, gathering dust. She reluctantly glanced over, then began to type in the search bar: American Girl Dolls. A video came up. She clicked on it. 14 coustumed dolls slid onto the screen and began to dance together, waving their arms and doing cartwheels. Anna was shocked. How could this be possible? This was.... Amazing. She quickly searched a few more. There were hudreds of videos, by usernames like stephenswodadancer, AGlovejess and girloftheyearstudios. Anna couldn't believe it. This new discovery was incredible! She ran to her room and pulled out her two dolls, felicity and samantha. She grabbed her camera. And, she began to film.

It is now four years later. I work on videos almost everyday, usually stopmotions. I have gathered quite a few veiws and subscribers on youtube, and I really appriciate when people comment on my videos. I have come unbelievibly far, but I still leave up those first videos from two years ago, because for me, those are the memories that I will always treasure. I am so happy that I can share them with you.
